Halal Food Safety Management System

Halal Certification is applicable to Organizations of all sizes that plan to expand their exports in countries that require compliance with Sharia and that specialize in the sectors of food and catering, pharmaceuticals, logistics, tourism, cosmetics, healthcare etc.

Halal is a Food Safety Management System in compliance with the Law of Sharia (Muslim Holy Law).

In Arabic the word Halal means "lawful or permissible" and does not apply only to food and drinks, but also many other products of daily life.

The term Halal generally applies to all foods, not just meat products, but especially processed foods.Halal also applies pharmaceuticals and many other products.

The Standards Halal Quality Control Standard 1001, Halal Products - General Requirements for Halal Food 1002 and the Guideline HAS 23103 set out the requirements for a HALAL Food Management System, which is based on ISO 22000:2005 Standard and on the principles of HACCP.

The market for Halal products is growing rapidly and has great influence on consumers worldwide, covering a wide range of food and non-food products, influencing the global economy.
