BQC has conducted the “Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) for Human Food” training programme

Providing high knowledge and rich experience in the sector of Food Safety Management Systems,BQC successfully organized the training programme Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) for Human Food at the BQC head office in Maroussi.

The aim of the seminar was to offer expertise to the participants in the Legislative/Regulatory Framework (FSMA-Food Safety Modernization Act) of the FDA (Food and Drug Authority) of the United States, ensuring the attainment of the PCQI certificate, the necessary individual certificate that secures a smooth exporting activity to the USA for the participants’ companies.

The training course, under the guidance of the Technical Director of BQC and certified PCQI Lead Instructor of the FSPCA, Mr. Katsieris Dimitris, covered a wide range of deliverables such as Food Safety Planoverview, Process Preventive Controls, Verification and Validation Procedures, examples and exercises on Food Security Plan, etc., based on the requirements of USA’s food law.
