ΟHSAS 18001:2007 – Auditors/Lead Auditors Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems

ΟHSAS 18001:2007- STANDARD REQUIREMENTS - Course duration: 2 days

This training course includes all the requirements of ΟHSAS 18001:2007 Standard as well as the compliance practices with these requirements. The training course also covers the demands of the relative legislation while particularly emphasizing on risk assessment and risk management by providing implementation tools and discussion of case studies, as well as the Risk Analysis.

ΟHSAS 18001:2007- INTERNAL AUDITORS – Course Duration: 3 days 

This course presents the structure, planning and implementation of Internal Audits and analyses the method to conduct an audit (ISO 19011). After the completion of the training program, the participants will be able to organize and conduct internal audits both in their company and as external consultants on Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems. 

ΟHSAS 18001:2007 – Auditors/Lead Auditors Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems – Course Duration: 5 days

This training course includes the presentation of first, second and third party inspection techniques as well as the demands of the ISO 19011 Standard for Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems auditors. The aim of the program is for the participants to be able, after its completion, to design, develop and implement Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems as well as to audit those systems, according to the ΟHSAS 18001:2007 Standard.

  • Analysis of each paragraph – requirement of the Standard and explanation of their documentation requirements 
  • Legal and other demands/ Basic Legislation for Occupational Health & Safety 
  • Practical training of the participants in the design and implementation of internal audits

  • Analysis of ISO 19011 Standard and of the guidelines for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems inspections
  • Exercises and examples

Training Methodology

The training methodology includes lectures, practice and team work. In this context the participants are asked to carry out group and individual exercises as well as role-playing exercises, aiming at the development of their skills (time management, team spirit, cooperation). In the end, an evaluation test and a questionnaire are handed out to the participants in order to evaluate the results of their training and the achievement of its objectives.
